Hi,
I'm new to the forum today so be gentle with me please!
I am restoring what I was told was a 1939 Fargo Truck but with the numbers I have found and list below, I think it is later, but not sure, so turning to the forum for help.
Serial Number 80055465
Model Number FK4 60
Engine Number T 118128655V
Body Number 4112 125 649
It has a 25" head and the cabin does have side lights and the Fargo grill of three pieces with the Vee disappearing behind the front bumper. Serial number tag on RH door pillar says made in Detroit USA
Any dating assistance and translation of the codes would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards to all from Australia.

Possible help.

Thanks 68RT for the info. Have looked at this site and have found that my serial number does exist in numerical sequence, but unfortunately it doesn't show the year that it applies to. At least I know the truck was "made" - just not when yet!!
All the best and thanks once again for helping.

This Registry does list information on Fargo Trucks. Dodge Trucks - 1939 to 1947
Hi wocar,
Thanks for the heads up on this registry. As a result I have now identified the year of my Fargo and confirmed it was Detroit built for export, so a factory built right hand drive.
Grateful for you pointing me in the right direction.
All the best.
