Welcome! I've owned an 85 and a 92 both new, and currently own an 84 and a 93. If you need advice, just holler. I have the factory service manuals.

The control module is in the center stack, near the radio. They suffer from bad solder joints as well as the epoxy filling leaking out like goo all over everything.

They were never big sellers. why?T to me they were better then the mustanf and camaro. How were they price compared to the others?
They hit 70K in sales in 1989, not too shabby. But styling changes, bad 4-speed auto from 1990 on, killed it. 400,000 units made in 10 years.
They were priced lower than the others. And the 1984 Turbo Z, in a game of specsmanship, beat the 350 Camaro in 0-50 times.
