so i was trying to adjust the vacuume 2ndarys and nothing was happening there was never any tension on them... yet the flap stayed closed.... and now i know why... age got to the spring... it was twisted and mangled...... sooo... anyone have a tension spring and lock nut for that? .... didnt have a good enough grip... lost the lock nut in the old emission gap... not my day... and no i didnt lose it because it went flying... there was absolutely not tension on it or the adjusting screw what so ever....

im sure i could if i had one small enough to fit lol.... still need a new spring tho... know anyone who has one to spare? actually even if i did i dont think it would do any good pretty sure that lock nut is aluminum like the airhorn so it wont freeze up.

hey its a helpful one... thanx! hadnt thought of it myself till you mentioned it.... then i remembered it was aluminum.. lol
