I thought about putting a van 3.3 in a Valiant, until a little research revealed that, apparently, the 3.3 van engine is a unique Van Only setup, that can only bolt up to the FWD van transmission, and has no relation to any RWD trans or bellhousing patterns like a 904/727/998 etc etc.

There is one RWD setup similar to the 3.3. That would be the 3.5 RWD setup in the Prowler which placed a driveshaft between the engine and the rear mounted transaxle.
