Is there pent-up demand for a Thema coupe in Europe?
Lancia is considering a Lancia Thema coupe
A rumor circulating around the Italian media indicates that Fiat-owned Lancia is considering launching a coupe variant of the Chrysler 300-based Lancia Thema sedan.
If given the green light for production, the range-topping coupe will give the Thema lineup a much-needed sales boost by widening its target audience across Europe.
Inside sources at Fiat indicate that the coupe and the sedan will share the same drivetrains, the same overall silhouette and roughly the same interior. The biggest difference inside and out will be the doors.

Is there a demand for a full size luxuary coupe in North America? I just don't see mech volume in a 300/Thema coupe. I guess this would work as a halo car?
That's the thing - I don't see demand for either. Doesn't mean it isn't there, though.

It's the Cadillac Chrysler CTS Coupe! 
It might not be all that hard- take the Challenger floor, adapt 300 quarter panels and C-pillar, roof to shorten, put 300 front clip on, and design new door skins.
I'm sure that there are other complications that I'm not thinking of, but it would be awesome if they'd offer such a car domestically too...

I was thinking put the luxury series interior on it and call it Chrysler Imperial.And call it the CORDOBA! :-D
I personally would love to see a pillarless hardtop again. My absolute favorite body style, even with the engineering difficulties it creates. It would blow everything else out of the market just like the original K-car convertibles did when they were re-introduced.
Frankly, I think Autoblog started with the artwork and then made up a story to fit it.
I like the sound of this! I hate seeing the CTS-V coupe (beautiful car, crazy performance) go unanswered by Chrysler. I think if theyre going to go this route, then dump the 200C convertible and offer a droptop based on this also. Seems a better platform for a ragtop since it would be more in line with what a Chrysler 'vert SHOULD be.
Chrysler convertibles have not been performance cars though, they've been cars to enjoy driving with the top down.
They cant even sell the 4 door 300C/Thema Chrysler/Lancia in Europe, what makes Anyone think they can sell a 2 door?
As all design would be from the US, there would obviously be a 2 door 300C in America too....so any rumours?
