Allpar was told today that the day shift has built the final 2010 Dodge Charger, the last of the first generation of the LX-based muscle cars.
The 2011 Dodge Charger has been unveiled, with official photography coming after the police version was test-driven in plain sight by the Michigan State Police. The two appear to share a common transmission and basic architecture, with similarly powered 5.7 liter V8 models, but the 2011 features a brand new V6 engine and a new 6.4 liter Hemi engine with additional power. The suspension has been extensively retuned, the sheet metal updated, and the interior reportedly greatly improved.
