I bought one brand new in 1986 and was wanting to own one again. The car with the 2.2 turbo and auto wasn’t anything to write home about but it sure was comfortable.

If I remember right this was a California only package.........................sort of Shelby looking vehicle without the stickers.

I had a 1986 rendition in black, red gut, five speed turbo which I enjoied greatly. However at that time Mrs wjajr with two small kids to cart around, and no love for a manual transmission shortened that car's stay. Replaced by an 88 Crown Vic boat, which she liked. I have to admit, the Vic's cavernious trunk was some handy on trips.
This was two years before the Shelby model came out

I had one it was a blast to drive. The car was good did not have many issues. If they were around now I may buy one
