Hi all,

Long time allpar forum user but first time neon guy here. I'm about to do both lower control arms on my new 2000 neon. It needs bushings and ball joints and my understanding after some quick research is that it is much easier to just replace the whole control arm with bushings and ball joint in place.

Anyway, while I'm in there with the front end all torn apart, is there anything else people would recommend I replace that commonly goes bad?

Thanks!!
Pete

Might as well do the sway bar bushings.

I suppose it is easier to replace the whole arm, but I'd serious consider some poly bushings instead if you plan to keep the car a lot longer.

I recommend replacing the left and right outer tie rod ends. My left one became loose at 90,000 miles, and the right one at 100,000 miles, both times destroying my tires.
