From the article:

If Hellcats growl, the Banshee howls.

The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee electric muscle car concept does, at least. It's the formal introduction for enthusiasts of the Stellantis NV brand to the vision for the top-of-the-line trim for Dodge's battery-electric muscle car starting production in 2024 after the Challenger and Charger as they've been known disappear after 2023.

The Fratzog is an exhaust....on a BEV....for SOUND!!!!

The front fascia is a WING for aerodynamics!

Dodge is keeping performance figures secretive, though it says they exceed the Hellcat engine.

The Fratzog can put out 126 decibels....louder than a Hellcat

Dodge has a sample of the sound. I'm looking for a link.

They want to keep the sound and feel of driving a muscle car .

It will give you the feeling of shifting.

That is beautiful! I recall seeing a Charger rendering years ago that looked a bit like that, from my memory anyway. I haven’t been able to find it since then, so maybe I imagined it (Or I’m just psychic). Lol.

The sound is….well….kinda weird. I was afraid it would sound like 2 cats “going at it”. Unfortunately my fears were justified. Ooooooof.

Ok daytona charger banshee? Where is the challenger? Is there no more 4 door sedan? I think I need to see it more, but as some who prefers the charger platform, im sorry about the implicated news. I do like what I see and hope for trickle down for the siblings. Also, dispose fake scoops, wings and noises . I understand noises like reah pearlman understands Danny davito ( it’s me or nobody) but please don’t Pontiac us…

He really put on the hard sell. Looks good, inside and out. Remember, this is a concept. This will get watered down quite a bit. Would never spend my money on this, but at least it looks good. I would take a used Hellcat over this. He's 100% correct on one thing, they were forced into EVs by the G word. He/they have no choice, sad.

Agreed that this is a concept. It's pretty clearly production intent. And while there can be much moaning around government mandates, the fact is this is the best performance Dodge has ever had, period, if he told the truth. Also, it wasn't the government that forced them to drop all their fuel efficient cars, was it?

I am impressed that they reimagined sixties muscle for the 21st century and a new generation. If I was 18 this is something I would want to save my money for… The attitude is staying alive.

Looking forward to the day when some young gal or guy pulls up next to me in the Charger Hellcat and says: “You know, Chargers are supposed to be 2 door…” :)

Can‘t argue with that…

This car is awesome. I’m very happy to see Dodge not do a copy of everyone else’s electric cars. Being able to choose the inline 6 or BEV will be icing on the cake.
