This morning, Mopar introduced the latest chapter in the lineup of uniquely branded vehicles with the Mopar 21 Ram 1500 Special Edition. Like prior Moparized vehicles, this half-ton truck is based on a production model, but it is outfitted with a unique collection of accessories inside and out. It is also limited to just 250 units for North America, with 210 being sold in the United States and 40 will be sent to Canada.

“The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 is a head-turning, factory-backed rig straight from our custom shop,” said Mark Bosanac, North America Vice President, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care. “Across the entire Ram lineup, Mopar offers more than 600 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories.”

Mopar 21 Details

The Mopar 21 Ram 1500 is based on the Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and four-wheel-drive. The package starts on the outside with 20-inch black-painted wheels wrapped in 275-55-20 all-season tires, black grille badges, body-color bumpers, body-color door handles, body-color fender flares, black-painted mirrors and a Mopar bed step. Next, the exterior of the Mopar 21 package features unique stripes, a gloss black grille surround, black exhaust tips, Mopar off-road running boards, spray-in bedliner, tow hooks, dual-trailer camera prep and a body-color hard tonneau cover.

On the inside, the Mopar 21 Ram 1500 has a serialized instrument panel badge with the build sequence number, premium cloth seats with embroidered Mopar logos and Molle bags on the back, all-weather floormats and the Mopar 21 owner kit. That kit includes a “custom-made, personalized metal certificate of authenticity with serialized vehicle-build number and a special rendering of the truck by the Mopar Design team”.

The Mopar 21 Ram 1500 will be offered in four exterior colors - Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red and Hydro Blue. These special edition trucks are expected to begin hitting dealers in the U.S. and Canada sometime this summer. The MSRP of the package is $8,500. The actual MSRP of the vehicle with the package will vary greatly, based on the other options added to the truck in addition to the Mopar 21 package. That being said, the Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the 6’4” bed has a base price in the low-$40,000 range, so the Mopar 21 will likely start around $50,000 in the United States.
