Missing Mopars of 2015 (bonus): Jeep Wagoneer

Now here's a car that's been rumored for long enough to have birthday parties: a revived Jeep Wagoneer.

Jeep is the FCA US brand with the most cachet, and one of the most recognized FCA brands around the world. Many buyers would like to actually spend more and get a more exclusive Jeep, not just a Grand Cherokee that anyone with thirty or forty grand can buy. A prestige car, in short. That's what the old Wagoneer became, and that's what Jeep dealers demanded when the Grand Cherokee became popular: a more expensive version for those who want their neighbors and passers-by to know that they have spare cash. (And for those who want a Jeep, but feel the Grand Cherokee doesn't look or feel quite right.)

It's in the works, albeit as a Grand Wagoneer - a name only used after a "fake" Wagoneer started production. The "Grand" name isn't really needed, since there's only to be one Wagoneer, but this is the company that still makes a Grand Caravan when there's no Caravan.
