Missing Mopars of 2015: Jeep Scrambler Pickup

Most of the Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler cars has been upgraded since 2009, and we've seen some new ones. But there are some cars that are still missing. Let's start with the Jeep pickup that nobody wanted when it was made, and is now in demand: the Scrambler. Some are calling for a Gladiator, but that was a full size pickup shared the Wagoneer, whose equivalent today would be a Ram 1500.

We expect that if/when Jeep does make a pickup, it will be targeted as a small seller (40,000/year or so), based on Bob Sheaves' article, which delves into many of the devilish details. Expect the pickup to have the word "Wrangler" in it, to get the iconic SUV into the top ten truck lists; and also expect limited production of, say, 40,000 per year, worldwide, with a small bed and fairly light cargo capacity.
