I remember as a young kid watching the drags from the roof of our house on Mather !!! Dad was stationed there off and on over the years. When I got out of the Marine Corps back in the 92 I built my first truck and started racing there almost every weekend.... Amazing that the track has been there since the 70's and all that used to be out there was the Track and Mather now it is wall to wall homes and more wanting to be built up...... You watch the street racing will get even worse now that the nearest track will be Sonoma and Redding. It was a great facility and a Outlaw track meaning they slacked on a lot of tech rules but it allowed for a safe environment for people to race their cars.
