From a Company E-Mail; The Scoop to Go

Quote:
" Scoop to Go

Michigan engine plants to expand with $52 million investment
The Chrysler Group will invest $52 million in its engine plants in Trenton
and Dundee, Mich., to increase capacity of its Tigershark engine, creating
nearly 298 new positions at the Trenton North Engine Plant.

Trenton North will add an assembly line for the four-cylinder Tigershark
engine. The Dundee Engine Plant will convert a line to machine cranks,
heads and blocks to support Tigershark production at Trenton North. The new
and converted lines are expected to begin production by the end of the
third quarter."

From An Earlier Post: Help Still Needed ! ! ! !

A While Back I Said There was Lots of Room at the North Plant.

Retired but I would like to be adding my skills to the Nobel struggle its in. Too bad New Jersey and my grand kids are so far away. Social security reinforced by a pay check would be a nice thing.

Pretty sure that is the line they have been working on @ Trenton for the last several months. Kind of old news actually.

From My Sources - Trenton Engine North Is Getting another Engine Assembly Line (4 Cylinder One) for the Parts Coming From Dundee.

It's Over 1/2 Completed and Moving Along Fast.

No Guess or Estimate on Volume.

TMD
