My Birthday present

Yesterday was my 63rd birthday. It started out normal, I went to work at 5am and then about 5:45 I get a call from my wife. She was proceeding through a green light and a guy turned in front of her. You can see the results. Our new car. My wife is sore, but okay. Mainly from the seat belt. All things considered, I'd say the the Jeep came through pretty good. The hood is damaged, but the fenders appear to be okay, just the grille headlights etc.

For her rental, unless she was able to choose a specific type of vehicle, I’m betting it’ll be a Toyota Corolla. I think it’s the number one punishment device….er…I mean rental car. We had one when we went to Colorado. Bland was not a bland enough word for it.
Last rental Tojo Corolla I had did not even have cruise control. Yes, windows were crank.
I don’t recall too many details, but the zig-zag shifter was annoying. The seating position was terrible. And I felt like I could get out and run faster than it accelerated. To say I was disappointed when I found out what we were getting would be an understatement. But, it did get us from A to B, and that’s what we required.
Had two Corollas and both had a flat board for the seat back. Never had a Mopar that the seat caused my back to tighten up.
