My brother just got a Dart

Redline Red, 1.4L Turbo Rallye, 6M. Neat little car. I'll post pictures later. BTW, pretty dang decent acceleration. I was pleasantly surprised. However, there are some cheap touches. Fit and finish was also a little weak. But, overall, the car is pretty nice. My brother likes it a lot. I talked him out of a Focus and into the Dart, lol.

Elaborate where you find it lacking so others can be on the lookout.
Nice!

Those spoilers are gaining popularity

I like the driveway too...I'd love to find a 2002-2004 Dakota to pick up as a second vehicle for me
My dad put that same spoiler on their Pitch Black Limited.
I guess I don't have the only driveway with a Dakota R/T and a new Challenger.
But I don't have a brother with a Dodge Dart. Nice driveway :)

I'll take some pictures where I feel Chrysler can improve fit-n-finish etc. There were several areas I felt they could have improved.
My parents test drove an early build Rallye before they got their Limited... The more recent the car was built, the better it was put together.
Not surprising given their current "every single defect must be investigated" mentality. Being at Chrysler in 1977 would have caused their heads to explode.
nice car, not a fan of 'rental-car-gray' but it still makes me look forward to my limited :D

Is that spoiler a factory option now? Or a Mopar after-the-factory-add-on?

There is no factory OR Mopar spoiler available. My Dad got theirs on eBay... It's called "The Baby Charger" spoiler.
Yeah, a Focus just wouldn't look right in that driveway!
Although he is blocking the sidewalk. Ponytail's gonna get you!
Haven't had a chance to take any pictures of the areas that seem to be a little off. Both rear doors, when closed, do not line up well with the fixed glass area (the small side, rear window). The right side (passenger side) of the hood sticks up quite a bit (maybe a 1/4") from the fender. The fuel door is crooked and also sticks out from the fender enough to notice it immediately (That was the first thing I noticed when I did a walk around.). The upper portion of the dash (right side above the 8.4" screen) is not secured, it is loose, not firm. The dash area on the left hand side, just behind the steering wheel, under the gauge cluster, that dash panel piece is not sticking properly - it has fallen quite a bit from, you have to keep pushing on it to get it to stay in it's intended position. The rear race-track LEDs were not working and the A/C was making a strange sound. I can't remember what the others were, but it just seemed less than acceptable. Overall, like I said, nothing major, just a few little things that lessen the perception of quality. In the end, my brother is happy and the people at his work (Harley-Davidson) also think it's a cool little car.

It was on the car when he bought it.

It is a dealer add on spouler. And I don't think his car has racetrack led tails... They were a late avalilibity option not all of them have them.

Unless it's vapor-ware there is a Dart spoiler in the Mopar Parts accessories list for the Dart, part number 82213127.

Is this a reference to Parking Wars?

Love the car! Can't wait for mine. I'm getting the black interior. I don't like the Mopar spoiler, I'm getting the Sport-Wing spoiler.

not that late. Alot of people just didn't know they weren't standard. Including dealers & reps.
Speaking of mopar accessories, the catalog show full hood decals, fake carbon fiber grill inserts, and little splitter/skirt things (idk what they're called) that I was interested in. Our website doesn't list any of these parts. Should I ask my parts guy or are they unavailable?
