Have a portion of the cluster diagram but not enough to solve an illumination problem for the speedometer. It's an orange wire going to a round connector with no power. Where does wire from? Any help is great thanks.

Since it is associated with illumination of the instrument panel, the power source would originate with the dimmer switch circuit of the headlamp push - pull switch. Power probably travels through a fuse. See attached image.

There would be no power in that wire unless the headlight switch is on at least to the parking light position, and also rotated to full brightness. Otherwise, it will measure little or no voltage.

Check if the wire isn't burnt out. Either splice a new wire to the switch.
