I have a neighbor with a 2000 Neon leaking at the seals. But there are no seeal kits listed by NAPA or AutoZone for the 2000. One kit list for the '99 and '01.
Is the ommision some oversight or is there a good reason for the omission?
His budget makes the seal kit a lot more appealing than a whole rack trade out.

Welcome to Allpar. Because of 'hard part' wear and the need for special tools, you would probably be better off installing a reman unit and then setting the toe-in instead of a seal kit that may not fix the leak.
Flush all the old fluid and fill with ATF+4.
I see a Cardone A-1 reman with a core return at Rock Auto for $125 + shipping. A lot less labor and mess.
