Of course we’ll end up getting whatever I want. I’m the king of my castle, and I definitely wear the pants in our family. When I give a command, all others give...wait...um....ssshhhhhhhhh....did you hear something?? I think I heard a car door....I think that’s my wife.....coming Dear!!! :p
Before you got married...Didn't anyone ever try to teach you that the first two words a husband must learn are" "Yes, Dear.":D

I'm sure my wife would buy whatever caught her eye if she wasn't married to me. With that said, there are two things she had to accept when she married me, boxer dogs, and Chrysler products.
She’s rather iffy on the other Chrysler...er...FCA products...but she knows there will be Jeeps. Oh yes, there will ALWAYS BE JEEPS!! Broooooohaaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaaa (stops laughing, starts coughing, wife tells me to be quiet).

Yes, early on in my evolutionary development I did indeed develop that defense mechanism. However, in the world of evolutionary development, the predators learn and develop ways through your defenses. It’s an age-old battle, really. I think I’ll blame the internet machine and the Google. :D

When asked how his marriage lasted over 60 years, an 90 year old man responded, "Two words - 'Yes Dear.' ". :D

I was married to a woman who preached to me that happy nonsense. I hung in there for 15 years believing that until I lost who I was. As our divorce was final she asked me what happened. My response was papa needs some happiness too. I've been with my wife now for nine years. She lets me be me and I let her be her. When I met her I explained that two things in my life was non negotiable. Her reply was as long as she had wheels she didn't care and my dogs weren't an issue. I only wished I'd met her 35 years ago.

Happiness is a two-way street, it can’t all flow one direction. The trick is to find someone who is willing to abide by the rules of that road. My wife wants what she wants for a vehicle. For our family car, she wants her say in the decision. For mine, it’s mine. That keeps us all happy. The kids? Well, they ain’t contributing yet to have a voice. :D

I have this weird picture floating around in my head of the two of you "negotiating" over what the next vehicle should look like, and I see this frightening looking image of something that looks like the love child of a Durango and a VW New Beetle.

If I only had the art / drawing / photoshop skills, I'd post the image myself!:D
Wouldn't that IMAGE have been that of the DODGE KAHUNA CONCEPT

They’ve been promising that for years. What evidence is there one is coming?
The law of inevitability says that one of the complete set of all possible outcomes of a random event must occur. So we’re bound to see one eventually?

I have a hard time imagining any full size SUV being sporty.
Durango 392 fills that space nicely. Surprisingly good on the track. Trackhawk is expensive and very good, too.

How’s that different from today’s Dodge Caravan, Chrysler 300 or Chrysler’s “new” Voyager...?

And whose fault is that...? Certainly not the customers’.
.
I've been an ardent minivan lover. My take is Journey has/was for those people that seem to not like sliding doors ie minivans.
I think customers that don't like minivans/sliders are why minivans have fallen. What if you could opt for slider OR regular door on same vehicle? Maybe that would help.

Journey has sold what, 1 or 2 million units by now? Journey was also Canada’s best selling SUV for years.
Canadians seem uber-pragmatic...maybe to a fault. :) Go Canada!

I was impressed with the Hyundai Palisade, and more so after driving it. I see pros/cons to both ends of spectrum.
On one end, FCA's slow crawl to update cars... but yet if they can make money slow-crawling..that's GOOD.
other hand, Hyundai Kia has had amazing tear at new products and updates. I still am not an overall fan, but the Veloster N and Palisades are very impressive to drive.

No new Chrysler or Dodge product (Pacifica refresh doesn't count) until calendar 2022.
Wait, that can’t be right...2022 isn’t 3 YEARS away! Someone must’ve miscalculated on their delay time math. :p

I jest...I jest....:D
