Received a 1946 Dodge 4dr sedan from my father. I joined the group to get thoughts and tips on restoring it and find parts when needed.

Sweet ride. Welcome to Allpar. My first car was a 48 Plymouth Special Deluxe. I don't remember that much about it, but I foolishly sold it for $200 and bought a 66 Coronet 440 with the money.

Yes, very nice ride.

Big question is, what do you want or intend to do with her?

Physically, outside, she looks to be in very good shape, so I imagine that isn't an issue, so how is she mechanically?

Thank you, yes body is in good shape a few rust spots on the floor. Trying to keep everything as close to original as possible. Engine need work, exhaust manifold cracked beyond repair and the intake manifold has a hole on the bottom. So far
