This is good. The manufacturing folks will be happy I think. I’m surprised Imparato hasn’t left yet.

 

Imparato now heads Maserati "in order to improve its performance" they say. Ergo: a decision to spinoff /sell? Maserati is already made? This reminds of an fca exec as good as Pietro Gorlier moving to Comau in order to prepare for and handle its sale.

 

Imparato has been Maserati CEO since spring or summer. Ficili (also Alfa CEO) got Maserati COO then.

 

Maserati needs spun off.

 

Things must be pretty grim at Mercedes for someone to want to go back to Stellantis.

 

Or he doesn't like living in Germany, or he has personal reasons for wnating to go back, or he's fixed Mercedes and wants the next challenge. From what I heard from people at DCX, Mercedes manufacturing was basically "build to 1970 standards, then fix it.”
