After over 2 years in a company f150 v6, my company finally leased a batch of Ram 1500 Classics. Its hard being the diehard Mopar nut while daily driving a Ford. (Although a company gas card & vehicle no matter the make is a blessing) Ill give credit where its due, I put a beating on that blue oval. Even had it loaded to 12,800lbs over a scale.
Well now I finally get to say Mopar or no Car and really mean it.

5.7 with the 8 speed. 4x2. I love the crosshairs on the classics, matches every other dodge of mine perfect. The shift knob is a definite learning curve.

The 8sp is great. Much more well behaved than the "5" speed. Think I would come to prefer the dial over the console shift, which I hate, and the column shifter in my old truck that didn't like me drinking coffee.
