U can use any well known xW-20 or 30 oil in the van.
Your Ram would love a xW-40 HDEO. (Heavy Duty Engine Oil,big rig diesel oil)
like Rotella, Delo, Delvac..etc

But as you stated- its not for mds hemis.
I wonder how many of these who have gotten standard oil
at the quick lube place?
Im also curios about this talk that modern engines have smaller
clearances- do they really have smaller clearances not just smaller tolerances?

Yes, they have both smaller tolerances and smaller clearances. Not much smaller, but enough.

Googled some numbers, not really sure how true they are but:
318 crank play: 0,0005-0,0015 rod play: 0,002-0,0022
5.7 3gH crank play: 0,0009-0,002 rod play: 0,009-0,002

Both bigger and smaller but pretty much in the same ball park.
I wonder if a non 0W-20 SRT hemi have diffrent clearances?
