I finally got the 3.0 in my '93 Shadow ES part. (only 2.5 months)

I had to drill/tap the timing gear on the crank to get it removed. WHAT A PAIN!! :(

But I damaged the back edge trying to pry it off with a crow bar. So I now need a timing gear.

Local parts stores do not have this part. The local Mopar dealer wanted $53.35 plus tax for one they have to order in.

Can someone point me to an online source for the Mitsubishi 3.0 V6 used in the Shadows/Dusters/Sundances?

Hopefully I can get the crank timing cheaper there. Thanks.

But with shipping, it may be the same or more.

I have the Misubishi 3.0 in my 1994 Acclaim. It is still running strong after 187,000 tenderly driven miles. If you can still get Mopar parts from Chrysler I would do that. The only non-Plymouth parts on my car are a fuel pump (Delphi) and a pair of Raybestos quick struts (fronts from Rock Auto) that I bought because those are not available from Chrysler. The rear shocks still were, and as I replaced front and back, I ordered those from a dealer.
