The fairest comparison is the Malibu Vs Avenger ...Yes I know they are no longer made except for the 4 cyl malibu.
So again.....
Which is the better performer? Which drive train is more durable and reliable?

I ask you, which car is lighter? What are all the transmission ratios and final gearing? What are the torque numbers and at what RPM are they maxed out?

Come up with those figures and let us know.
