R/T classic stripe delete?

3890 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Mopar7171
Any seasoned veteran sales people know if the side stripe can be deleted from an R/T classic? I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I ordered an R/T classic but was told there is no option in the order system to delete the stripe.

thanks

Tell your dealer to peel it off while they're prepping the car.

Salesman suggested that, but the sales manager was concerned about paint damage. I'll have to take care of it myself. Thanks for the reply.

I ordered my 2013 Challenger R/T Plus in late April, and the dealer was able to delete the standard tape stripe from the hood to the side of the front fenders on the order screen. I got my car about a week ago, and I love the clean look in Hemi Orange!

I was aware that the R/T plus was available without the over fender stripe. The dealer had two on the sales lot optioned that way when I ordered my Classic R/T. Congrats on your car. I hope your enjoying it. I'm having a blast with mine.
