Hello, I have a Ram 3500 6.7 with RAM Air Suspension. It holds air fine, levels the way it should when under a load, but I am getting a "Service Air Suspension System" warning that dings and pops up on the gauges every time. It only pops up for about half a second and then goes away but pops right back up. It will do this every second or two for several minutes or sometimes hours on end. If I have my 5th wheel in tow, or if I am unloaded, it is not as prevalent, maybe just when I hit a bump. If I am unloaded but have passengers in the back seat or even just suitcases in the back seat, it is constant. Extremely annoying! My guess is a bad ground somewhere. It spent several days in the shop, but nothing was ever found. Has anyone ever come across this or have any other ideas?

Thanks for posting this…in my search for a late model Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi I found that nearly every one had air suspension. I read mixed results on Jeepforum.com some had no problems some had repeated expensive problems (leaks causing the pump to run overtime and burn out). Given the complexity of the system & cost of repair I decided it’s something I really don’t want. It is of limited use to me; I can put air bags in the rear coils if I want load leveling for towing.
Im still looking for a late model WK-2 Limited with Hemi & no air suspension….
