You won't get a CEL flash on an '05, the codes will be OBD-II P-codes and will appear in the digital odometer readout.

Thanks and found P-0456 suggesting a slight leak caused by either the gas cap or the line between the tank and the evac canister.
Mentions a couple of valves and am wondering if anyone could direct me to where the canister is and where the valves are. I would like to give it a visual before I go running to the dealer.
2005 Sebring V6 - Many thanks....

You may find an emissions label under the hood that has the vacuum routing map on it. Follow the vapor (evaporative) lines between the components from the tank to the canister to the purge solenoid.
If not the gas cap itself, rubber hose dry rot and cracks are common after a few years.
