I am in the not so late stages on a 1974 Cuda project as well. Wondering what is considered to be the best way to remove thin layers of body filler from previous work. In the past I have used a wire brush but that can mark the metal; also used heat (propane torch or heat gun) but concerned that could distort metal. I tried some airplane grade paint stripper today - that took the paint but did not seem to do much on the filler. I have not tried a second application of the stripper yet.
Looking for any ideas or opinions.

Thanks
Roy

I think you might be stuck with sanding. That said, those microplanes you can buy in high-end cooking stores make sanding go faster ...
