The article exaggerates the point terribly, but the Avenger and 200 are showing some age now and due to be replaced. Despite all the upgrades a couple years ago, in many ways they are still the same as when originally released in 2006. If they were priced at the same level as the Fusion and others in this class, I would agree with the general sentiment of the article, but they are not. They are thousands cheaper, and the Pentastar-equipped models are actually fun to drive, so in the category of "bang for the buck" the 200 and Avenger do quite well. It is pretty funny that the comments - nearly all of them - disagreed with the review so strongly. That says a lot about how satisfied 200 and Avenger owners are with their cars.
