With this setup, the compressor aligns with the pulley on the engine side of the harmonic balancer., like the older RV2 Mopar compressor.

The axial Sanden/Sankyo-style compressor replaced the Airtemp V-twin in 1978/79.
I see a couple of mounting bracket styles used in the early 1980's on the slant-6. Do either of these look like what you are looking for?
Factory A/C may differ from Mopar (dealer installed) A/C.

The second one has the idler pulley. Though it looks like the first one uses the compressor as a pulley. Whichever, I need to provide appropriate tension to the belt.

They both show a smog pump or alternator as the sliding adjustment for the belt tension.
Item #12 is Mopar 4089595.
Item #6 is Mopar 4179792.
Use those numbers in your search.
Is the old bracket 'weldable' if a replacement doesn't show up?
