Slightly ...
I hate when people misrepresent cars. Yes, it's in good condition but it is not "all original":
1) Aftermarket wheels
2) Steering wheel wrap
3) "Souped up" Indy head engine.
It's a modified car, not an original.

Nice car but nowhere near $65K. Wonder what the owner is smoking.

And an aftermarket gauge pack hanging from the dash.
$6,000 if it runs well.

The term "Honestly" is stretching it.
Gotta be what's going on here. Doesn't really want to sell it. Still working on finishing a long restoration on my '69 Coronet R/T numbers matching 440, auto with factory AC car, and "finished", worth around $65K. While some people like the mid 70s cars, I never really cared for their looks, and even with a smog-motor 400, about as much HP as a 6 cyl. minivan of today, unless it was butchered and hopped up (then NOT original). Geez, even the wife's '21 Durango V6 has almost 300HP with dual exhausts!

One of 700? IDK. Maybe? Hard to prove/disprove. Build sheet? Fender tag? Which one of the 3 400 engines did it come with? 400-2bl single exhaust 160HP, 400-4bl single exhaust 185HP, or the more desirable 400-4bl dual exhaust (E68) with 235HP? Clone? Original RR, but came with a 318 which was offered in 2bl and 4bl versions that year?

In addition to all other stuff mentioned above as "not original", just from the one crappy engine pic - non original hose clamps, hoses, plug wires, battery - the list is endless. OK if you are advertising as a modified car, but to claim such originality is crazy.

The 1975 Road Runner was the last one that could be identified by the VIN. They made a little over 7000 of them. With the 318 V8 as standard and accounting for over 50% of the total production I could see the 400 being one of 700. In fact there were three different 400 engines for 1975, and which one this car has is not indicated (400-2, 400-4, 400-4 dual exhaust).

The seller is either hoping you don't know the real value or has watched one Mecum auction too many.
I actually loved the styling of this car. Had a plastic car model of it that I painted a blue color that was similar to B5.

I've always liked that body style too. However, I think the guy has rocks in his head if he thinks he'll get that kind of money out of it. I'd like to have a Fury like that and find an old 340 to put in it. I'd be a happy man with that small block combo with a torquefilte.

Fell in love with the Road Runner after a cousin bought a new '69 383 w/auto trans. Collected every sales brochure every year afterwards and still dream today.

Remember a completely loaded '75 on a showroom floor with a sunroof, 8 track, every power accessory available, along with the E64 (400 4bbl/single exhaust) engine option. Recall reading some time later that the E58, E68 and E86 engine options could be ordered if one knew the right people and Plymouth Management approved. The car in question was a deep metallic red with a dark red vinyl interior - bucket seats and console. A 'performance shadow' of its former self but still great looking cars.
