The other day I stopped by the gas station and filled up my recently purchased '65 Barracuda. When the tank was full, gas gushed out on the ground. This is the second time I've had this problem. This years Cuda's filler is on the left rear quarter flat panel. Is there a trick to fill up these cars without dumping gas all over?
I haven't been able to fix either the fuel or the temp gauge. I've installed a new limiter, grounded the tank and gauges, installed a new tank and sender, and checked the sender wiring.
Thanks for the response about filling up. The first thing I checked for inop. fuel gauge is the fuse. There is power at the fuse for gauges and continuity to the gauges.
