The 2017 Dodge Viper Special Editions
In its 25th and final year, there will be five limited edition Dodge Vipers grounded in the car's illustrious run. They were made available for ordering on June 24, 2016. We are pleased to present them along with the cars that inspired them.
Most have the carbon fiber package ($5,100), ACR package ($19,000), and ACR extreme aero package ($6,900). The ACR interior package is $6,000. Tires are Kumho Ecsta V72 and the trim is high-grip Alcantara leather in black and red, except on Snakeskin and the dealer specials.
Viper 1:28 Edition ACR
Pays tribute to the current production car single lap record of 1:28.65 set in a 2016 Dodge Viper ACR at the Laguna Seca Raceway in October 2015. It has the Extreme Aero Package, carbon ceramic brakes, an exterior sill decal, the ACR interior with red accent stitching, a numbered badge, and a car cover that matches the exterior paint scheme and showcases the customer's name above the driver's side door. Up to 28 of these will be made.
The package is $11,000; the total price ends up being $138,795 with all the packages.
Dodge previously produced 33 units of the 2010 Viper ACR 1:33 Edition to tout its previous track record of 1:33.915 set by SRT dynamics engineer Chris Winkler at Laguna Seca Raceway in November 2009
Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR
Paying tribute to one of the most distinguishable Viper paint schemes (that of the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition), it has a pearl white exterior with blue pearl GTS stripes, the extreme aero package, carbon ceramic brakes, the exterior carbon package, red Stryker badge decal, GTS-R exterior sill decals, USA flag B-pillar decals, ACR interior with red accent stitching, Header Red seat belts, numbered interior badge, and the custom car cover. Up to 100 will be made, just like the 100 1998 Viper GTS-R GTS Championship Edition cars produced to commemorate the Viper winning the 1997 FIA GT2 championship.
With all the packages, including the commemorative edition interior ($7,000) and ACR interior (6,000) - not to mention $350 for header-red seat belts - the price comes to $140,245.
Viper VoooDoo II Edition ACR
Like the 2010 Viper VooDoo edition, this is a black Viper. It has a graphite metallic ACR driver's stripe with red tracer outline, Extreme Aero Package, Carbon Ceramic brakes, VoooDoo II exterior sill decals, ACR interior with silver accent stitching, numbered plate, and the custom cover; up to 31 will be made, matching the original run of 31 VooDoo Vipers.
With all the packages, including ACR interior, the price comes to $136,095. The Voodoo package itself is $8,300.
Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC
Memorializing the 2010 Snakeskin ACR is a new one with a Snakeskin Green exterior and a custom snakeskin patterned SRT stripe, Advanced Aerodynamics Package, GT black interior, numbered Snakeskin badge, and custom car cover. Up to 25 will be made (31 of the original were made).
The SRT hood is $500 and the Sidewinder matte-black wheels are $1,700. Unlike most of the other specials, the Snakeskin uses suede and leather seats in black, and Pirelli P Zero tires; the Snakeskin Edition costs $8,900, not including $2,000 for the special green color. The total is $113,795, making it the cheapest of the special editions; the only option is Advanced Aero ($4,800)
Dodge Dealer Edition ACR
There will be up to 33 "Dodge Dealer Edition ACR" cars sold through Dodge's highest volume Viper dealers (Tomball Dodge of Texas and Roanoke Dodge of Illinois), this is a white Dodge Viper with a Competition Blue center stripe, Adrenaline Red driver stripe, carbon ceramic brakes, Extreme Aero Package, ACR interior with red accent stitching, numbered plaque, and the custom cover.
