You really can't tell from the pictures what the Airflow will look and feel like until you see the car in front of you, open the doors and look and sit inside of it.
I had the same questions of the VW ID4 when It first came out. Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see one and sit inside it. It was a transformative experience in the sense that I misjudged it. Roomier than I thought, much roomier. The interior was all leather, well finished. It surpassed my expectations. The price I was quoted was $44,500.

I looked at an equivalent Mach-E earlier, and it listed out at $55,000.

The Airflow, I would estimate would be in a similar price range. When you consider federal and State rebates (I estimate $12,000), might be quite competitive with a Cherokee IMO.I guess we'll see.

My hope is that they can bring this to market by 2024... Until then, can we get a 300 Hellcat? :)

I agree. I thought all white interiors went away in the 80's when they deserved to be put to rest. When they age they age like crap and get dirty very easily.

I also don't understand the need to put glass roofs on cars, its stupid and needs gone.
My wife will only own vehicles with a pano roof... say what you want but it sells.

and personally I applaud any interior option that isn't Black on black on black (with a little gray here and there...), Unfortunately I am in the minority from what I can tell when shopping for vehicles, but I am thankful they do exist, and I can confirm a "not black interior" is the reason I purchased the specific new vehicles I have had of late.

I agree with you about the black on black with a little gray. I don't think you're in the minority about that, that color scheme is used all too much. People might scoff at it but I didn't mind the all blue, red, or purple interiors of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Seems like blue isn't used that much at all including red. I think the purple is probably extinct now.

My XF's has a white interior and I think it looks good. At the same time it takes a lot to keep it clean it 🤦🏽

The exterior design language looks just like all the rest. Not distinguishable at all.
I disagree. Today every other car has a massive guppy grille. I think it's elegant in its simplicity.

Apple's success has lain in developing products and software that are conceptual leaps from what has been available previously. The Apple Car Concept does not appear to do that. The exterior and interior morphology are retreads. The only hidden factor is autonomous control, but I am highly doubtful that promise can be fulfilled in less than decades of development. Apple also puts huge profit margins on its products, which is doable for small electronic appliances but would not be possible for an automobile.

I agree. I don't think this was a good strategy for them.

Seems like every garden party...(or...in this case...CES)...has to have at least one skunk......right?
Just when our sense of optimism for Chrysler brand was being encouraged......

Along come thise croakings of doom from "Tokyo Rose"...OOPS!...I mean..."Melbourne Sam"

Yes, I watched his video yesterday about who would be left in 2030. I think he's over-optimistic for Tesla, and discounts many issues, like the nature of the USA, the grid situation (it's not going to fix itself, not overnight, anyway) and the still-developing world.

The still developing world can develop to a high standard now ...

The grid situation never fixed itself. The NYC blackouts were due to poor grid design and maintenance. Fortunately, grids can be upgraded.

What would really be nice is if they took out the Internet based grid vulnerabilities.

You know, I like the Airflow more and more as I look at it. The hood shape and lines are very 200. This honestly feels like what a next gen 200, might have looked like. Which is good cause I really like the C200. I would absolutely buy this thing.

Color matching over time was one of the issues that pushed gray forward...
sadly they can't even match gray from what I have seen...

I do scratch my head a bit with my new Ram, it's basically a black and beige interior but with gray (denim almost) seats which seem out of place in there, I figure it's a cost savings decision (common parts) and it's still a million times better than all black and gray.
