I don't currently own one but I've long thought that a minivan is the perfect family car. I have been seeing a fair number of Pacifica around here.

It is. Had a '00 T&C Ltd AWD from 2003 - 2008. Best family vehicle we ever had. Had 4 kids at the time. Ours was prior to stow 'n go, but it had more utility than any SUV.

Trip to FL it was loaded to the gills with a car top carrier, all 6 of us, and with the AC on still averaged 21 mpg at 70 mph.

Even loaded my riding mower in the back - took the seats out. Wife wasn't happy about that. Didn't have my Ram at the time.

It's a driveway with a house on either side of it that my current van does not fit down unless I fold a mirror. I doubt the Pacifica would fit (3 inches wider without mirrors) even with both folded.

That's pretty narrow. Those houses must be very close together. My cousin has a house in Tonawanda, NY (next to Buffalo) and while the houses are close together, they are not that close. My Ram easily fit in the driveway between the houses. Had to have all vehicles off the street by 9 pm or so or they would be towed.
