The Dodge Scooter concept car

The Dodge Scooter was shown in image form, dated 2005, a small, two-door, two-seat, low-slung sports car, which if powered by the 2.4 liter engine could probably do zero to sixty in under six seconds, yet still sell for under $20,000 and make a profit.

There could be two versions, one with the 170 hp 2.4 and one with a turbocharged or supercharged version producing well over 225 horsepower, which in a stripped-down, lightweight body would provide terrific acceleration (shades of the ill-fated Copperhead come to mind.)

The Dodge Scooter may have been the latest incarnation of the Dodge Razor; like the Razor, it never went anywhere, and had little in the way of ornamentation and frills, but did have a four-point racing harnesses. The Scooter was succeeded by the Dodge Demon in the line of "cheap cars we never saw."

It looks so good and vintage. I love retro cars, and even more, I love modern scooters designed with the latest technology. It makes for a fast ride, and it's environmentally friendly. Above all, driving an electric scooter is your choice for a healthy planet. Electric scooters also make much less noise, so you can ride at high speed even at night and not disturb your sleeping neighbors. On the other hand, cars have their options, which deserve attention and constant use

as much as i woudl like something like this they will never make it the numbers just dont add up to be marketable. i woudl be better off picking up a miata and somehow fitting the SRT4 motor in it or a first gen neon coupe and have a RWD chassis put in it
