Our iconic beloved Wrangler:
It goes totally against what the automotive press 'perceives' as a good vehicle.
*Aerodynamics of a brick
*Loud
*Bumpy ride
*Lack of comfort
*Lousy NVH
*Lousy gas mileage
*Lousy handling
*Poor performance
*You name it

Yet they can't sell them fast enough.
The irony of it all.....
And I love it !
Could anyone ever explain this phenomenon ?

(yes I have a JK)

Well the Wrangler in its defense has come a long long way on every one of the elements.

Including growing a pair of doors.

There are certain things that are icons beyond there vitals Harley Davidson, Porsche 911, and Jeep Wrangler.

That said the biggest danger to Wrangler is none of the limitation you listed but instead Federal mandates.

lol, this has nothing to do with Mopar News or Rumors...
JRS:
I sort of figured that....I wasn't sure where to put it.
Chrysler Chat perhaps ??
Maybe the Moderators will help me.

It's an iconic vehicle that has managed to stay close to it's roots while seemingly getting better as it goes.

*Aerodynamics of a brick It gets better and slicker, every year, my 2013 is slicker than my 2007.
*Loud The 2013 is much quieter than the 2007, more sound batts, better engine and drive train.
*Bumpy ride My 2013 rides better than my 1996 Grand Cherokee.
*Lack of comfort I have heated leather seats, climate control, heated mirrors, killer sound system, its comfortable as all heck!
*Lousy NVH NVH is MUCH improved over 2007, its actually smooth and quiet.
*Lousy gas mileage 23.6 mpg on my first tank, not bad for nearly 300 HP.
*Lousy handling It handles great, for a Jeep. ;) I drive from sea level to 8,000 ft, three times a week, its almost the fastest thing on the mountain.
*Poor performance Did I mention it had near 300 stock, and now that I have added some Banks goodies, it's over 300 HP, the Pentastar is great!
*You name it

Yet they can't sell them fast enough.

Of all the pre-conceptions people have of Wrangler, loud, bumpy ride, lack of comfort, and lousy NVH do not apply to JK anymore; more and more shoppers are being surprised when they take a closer look.
