I"m being civil now. Don't jump on me because I seem to want to burn Oil instead of Gas.
I had a D-50/4x4/Diesel in Alakska. It was a mitsubishi in disguise as a Dodge.
It got 25 Mpg in the winter. Great little pickup.

Now, because they are old, I'd bet somebody has a back yard full of them.
I'd like to get one up and running.
Can any of you help me out?
Send me to a different forum maybe?
How about a tip to a yard full of them?
Thud,
Alabama

You could try the 'Cars Wanted' section or e-bay? The Mighty Max/D-50 turbo diesels are gone from around here (NY) due to salt belt rust. Google 'for sale' results don't look too encouraging, but keep checking.
25-30 years is a long time for many survivors to be still roadable. Alabama still has plenty of old vehicles around. Mitsubishi trucks weren't real common then and even less so now.

Thanks very much Crown. I've printed that out. It was a great explanation.
I see the pump assembly on Ebay, AutoZone and NAPA. $65-$140.
Maybe I can fix the 'whatever' that's loose in there.
