1,152 Ram pickups joined forces to set a Guinness-certified world record as the "Largest Parade of Pickup Trucks,” nearly doubling the previous world record of 638 pickups.

Oddly enough, the record wasn’t set in the pickup-happy United States, but in a country where Ram doesn’t even have direct sales — Germany.

Sponsored solely by importers AutoGlobalTrade AG of Switzerland and AUTEC of Germany, the parade took over the Nürburgring racetrack in Nuremberg, Germany.

The trucks ranged from a 1981 Dodge to 2016 Rams; they ran on diesel, gasoline, and even LPG.  ( See this 37-minute video of the parade ).
