Aspen/Volare sub frames with the torsion bar across the front have been a popular way to get all the modern conveniences in a relatively simple swap. The pics look like what you've got. Pinto/Mustang II front ends are also common for street rods.
Trying to identify a front suspension
We’re doing some work on a 53 ford truck that has been retrofitted onto Chrysler suspension. We believe the rear is the Chrysler 7.25. And the front is torsion bar just trying to figure out exactly what it came off of.
