After treating with a good rustproofing paint, I'd spray some undercoating, and then before it dries fully, press the underlay in.
Uderlay
As I'm preparing to put my interior back in, I want to replace the old underlay that was along the firewall and under the carpet. The old stuff is already out, but what should I use to stick the new stuff down? That, or would using tar be enough for the firewall?
