Not bad at all - surface rust, but it can be sanded and repainted. I had holes in the rocker panels and rear cross-member that I could put my arm inside after 12 years on my last car.

By the way, VERY scary how you elevated that car. I didn't see any safety restraints. I'm amazed that it didn't tip over. I would never get under or around it, the way it was tilted.

Agree with Bob. Simple jackstands would have been far safer. I could see the vehicle rolling over very easily.

Intresting vehicle lift !
Does Finland use salt or a similar corrosive substance on their roads in winter ? The rust doesn't look that bad but a good chassis flushing several times during the warmer days of winter would help remove corrosive build up and lessen under body rust. A lift such as this would be ideal for such a flushing and the car would not need to be tilted up quite as far.
