The old Chrysler Corporation really and truly seemed to have had far, far more innovation than GM and Ford. Combined even. They have had people who know how to "think outside the box." And some of those ideas were then "Green-lighted." Of course, being the smallest of The Big Three put them in the position with an attitude of "we try harder." The Turbine cars and then the Charger Daytona/Roadrunner SuperBird were two highly visible examples for all the world to see. Yes, I'd suggest that innovation has always been one of Chrysler Corporation's strengths.
