Satellite Radio.

The plastic panel is called a shield. Part number would depend on the trim code.

Thanks for the information. Where would be a good place to try and order it?

On the stock radio I can go to satelite but it is stuck on one station and you can't do anything else. Where is the satelite module?

The satellite radio circuitry is integrated inside the factory radio. The satellite antenna connects directly to the back of the radio - no separate module.

I agree, by 2010 it was almost certainly all in the radio. Some earlier models did have a separate satellite radio module.

Radio where I live is good. As far as the shield part goes, I found it on a site (link below). Wanted to know if anyone has used them for parts before.

Well mine (the not so great shark fin) is a "have to" considering on my last big mods I "shaved" the antenna.
And, I went thru trying several different interior antennas that did NOT work worth crap!
The antenna must be above the metal car body to work well.
To bad that thread is gone at PTCruiserLInks.
