2003 AEV-modified Jeep Wrangler long wheelbase

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/3643207694.html

Saw this, it's got me very interested admittedly. Probably going to have to pass unfortunately but this is a lot more of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity compared to some of the other interesting vehicles I see for sale from time to time.

I wouldn't mind having a 20" longer wheelbase than a TJ or 10" longer than a TJ Unlimited...

For less money you can get a 20

For less money, you can get a 2007 JKU and install an AEV liftan have a better performing and nicer riding Jeep than the TJ.
Just my two cents.

I just don't like the JK as much as the CJ/YJ/TJ vehicles. The modern ones are just too big...

The two door JK is just marginally larger. My JKU is very much larger, but I have zero issues running the same trails with TJ's. As for CJ's, you just don't see many still on the trail. The leaf spring suspension just cannot keep up with the coil-link.

I notice going from leafs to coils that you can't keep up with the comfort either ;) My 45 year old back is thanking me now.
