I'm trying to find out if I can replace engine components with some liberty models. Such as: alternator, heat, fans, cooling system. Any experiences to share?

Welcome to Allpar. Much was shared between the KA (Nitro) and the KK (Liberty). You can Google the select Mopar part numbers to check fit & interchanges between them.
They have different wheelbases, so front-to back wiring, fuel lines, cables, propeller shafts, carpets, headliners, etc. may be different.
