So I am looking to upgraded my '11 Ram 1500 5.7 to a 3500 6.7 cummins. Lo and behold there isn't a single one on the lot. I'm even having problems ordering them at the dealership as it appears they pulled the AISIN from the ordering system. Not sure if they ran out or what. I'm trying to decide if I want to wait or go with the 68RFE. Here's my setup.

2013 crew SLT 4x4 6'4" rambox
6.7 Diesel
Auto Trans

Pulling a 15k fifth wheel about 20% of the time. Daily driver with a 20 mile commute.

Thoughts on the transmission? Which would be better for MPGs towing and not towing? (Yes I know I'm buying a truck so MPGs are out the window)
