I have a 02 Town & Country EX with the engine comparment wiring harness problems. The problems are defecits in the insulation getting the green crust on the wire to find the copper wire gone, thus a broken wire. I was given this number fir a harness 4869536ABB. I am trying to do two things. First, determine if this part number is for the complete harness under the hood, ie connects from the fuse panel to the trans module, PDU, fans, starter, etc. The Second is to determine is this part number the same for all models, ie EX LX,LXI... Also is this hardness used in the Caravan line, etc.

That part number has an extra 'B' in it. 4869536AB is discontinued and no longer stocked. It was $188 dealer list, 25" long and 8 lbs shipping weight. I have to assume that it was a partial engine compartment harness.
The complete engine harness (4869531AH) equipped with ABS is also discontinued and no longer stocked. It listed for over $2000.
I have repaired wiring harnesses with corrosion issues on these. It was common near the battery and under the PDC (fuse/relay box) going down to the TCM and radiator fan control module area.
A length of junk harness for usable lengths of color-coded wire, heat shrink tubing for splices and electrical tape to thoroughly wrap the bundle works well.
A gentle pull on each wire will find the ones that stretch (indicating a broken internal conductor). Rinse the battery acid from the area, clean the terminals and install anti-corrosion felts under the terminals. Packing the connectors with silicone or die-electric grease will help discourage corrosion.

The other part number was 4869530AH. I thought that that one was the one w/o ABS.
I Googled it and it doesn't tell me which is which. Parts look-up by VIN is the most accurate method to get the correct part that the vehicle came with.
It too shows unavailable.
Repairing what you have looks like the best option here.

Thanks again on the info. I have been repairing problems on this harness for two years now. Every time I fix on spot another one develops. Since this part number says it is for a Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep, but doesn't give models, Where can I find a crossref as to which models use this same part number.

The part #'s show up for minivan only. Online parts lookups are too general.
Give the last 8 of the VIN to the guy at the Chrysler parts counter and ask him what the dealerconnect shows as the correct part for your specific vehicle.

Possibly your main local library? I don't see it online for free.
ebay and Faxon auto are service manual/wiring diagram book/disc sources.
FSM is best. Haynes and Chiltons may be useless.
