if you have a first gen. neon you will want to check this . remove your fuse and relay box from the battery cover and lift up to see a wiring harness. now check the wiring for chafes and signs of rubbing. these wires go to the ECU. the wiring could rub against the trans. bushing body bracket they will wear right through the wire loom and insulation. i found 9 wires destroyed the short caused my ECU to fry and it took out the cam and crank sensors, causing a crank no start condition. check them now so you don't have to go through what I had to.
